Tamara Stangeby created the unique company known as Sterling Estate Services as a way to bridge the many facets needed to help people successfully navigate their life transitions. A downsizing move is a huge project requiring knowledge, skill and expertise in many areas to be successful. Tamara’s interest in art, antiques, collectibles, architecture, history and helping others led her to multiple careers as both a Personal Property Appraiser and as a Realtor; paths that ultimately merged with the founding of Sterling Estate Services.
As a Personal Property Appraiser and a member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), Tamara is exceptionally qualified to assist with estate assessment and liquidation needs and is also available for complete USPAP compliant written appraisals. Tamara holds a fine arts degree and has worked in the capacity of an associate, manager, specialist and appraiser for a number of venues including a local auction house, an estate sale and on-line auction company and for fellow appraisers. Her appraisal and consultation work covers a wide range including art and antiques as well as collectibles and general household items.
As a Realtor for over a decade now, Tamara also has extensive expertise in home pricing, preparation, marketing and negotiations and is a Certified Stager. Having worked in both industries locally for many years, she knows the lay of the land and is very well connected to the multitude of resources needed for successful downsizing. Her ultimate goal is to confidently and conscientiously guide you, your loved ones, and/or your clients through all aspects of the downsizing process.
